President Divan: 2 rows Vanadium steel pocketed springs, 928 springs m2, 1200 gr long horse hair, British wool fleece and cotton blend, solid beech wood frame.
All natural materials have been treated and are hypoallergenic.
The Vispring story began in 1899, when British engineer James Marshall created a muslin-wrapped spring mattress for his ailing wife in Canada, marking a milestone in comfort. In 1901, John Nolon and Frederick James brought this revolutionary design to Britain, founding the Marshall Sanitary Mattress Company for commercial production. In 1911, Vispring signed its first major orders for ocean liners, including the Titanic and the Olympic. Over the years, Vispring has innovated its mattress fillings, incorporating natural materials such as horsehair, pure cotton, Shetland wool, silk and cashmere, and in 1932 introduced the world's first pocket-spring daybed.
